We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Associate to join our growing payroll services team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a career in payroll, accounting, HR, and client services.
As a Payroll Associate, you will assist in processing payroll for multiple clients, maintaining employee records, preparing payroll reports, and responding to payroll-related inquiries. You will work closely with experienced payroll professionals and receive hands-on training in payroll operations, government compliance, and client support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in processing payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Review and validate payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
- Maintain employee records and payroll-related information.
- Generate payroll reports, payslips, and supporting schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory reports and government contribution schedules.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding payroll processing and payroll-related concerns.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required payroll documents and information.
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and data issues.
- Ensure payroll data is handled with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Perform other payroll and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance, or related courses.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or HR is an advantage but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
