Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Compute attendance/timesheet using MPM Payroll Software
  • Compute attendance related payments to employees like basic pay, overtime pay, holiday pay, rest day pay, absences, tardiness etc. using MPM Payroll Software
  • Record employee details and updates in MPM Payroll Software
  • Compute payrolls and government deductions using MPM Payroll Software
  • Compute payroll and prepare payslips and payroll registers using MPM Payroll Software
  • Prepare SSS, PHIC and HDMF reports using MPM Payroll Software
  • Communicate with assigned clients
  • Process and submit documents to various government agencies and banks, if needed

Requirements

  • Candidate must have a degree in accountancy, finance, business and/or commerce or any courses related to HR, payroll or accounting
  • With at least 3 years experience in HR or payroll related work
  • Must have familiarity with SSS, PHIC, HDMF, and WTAX computations and rulings
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Comfortable working with a computer and numbers
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be hardworking and committed
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Knowledge in HR and labor code is a huge plus
