2020 BIR Form 1604C, 1604F and Alphalist Deadlines

On January 26, 2021, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) released and signed by Commissioner the Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 17-2021 which subject is to announce the extension of the deadline for the filing/submission from the original date of January 31, 2021 to now February 28, 2021 for the following:

  • Filling of BIR Form 1604C which is the Annual Information Return of Income Taxes Withheld on Compensation for the year 2020

  • Filing of BIR Form 1604F which is the Annual Information Return of Income Payments Subjected to Final Withholding Taxes for the year 2020

  • Submission of Annual Alphalist of Employees Whom Taxes Were Withheld as attachment to BIR Form 1604C for year 2020

  • Submission of Annual Alphalist of Payees Whom Taxes Were Withheld as attachment to BIR Form 1604F for the year 2020

  • Submission of Quarterly Alphabetical List of Payees for the Fourth Quarter of the year 2020 as attachment to BIR Form 1601EQ

It also explains that with regards to the submission of alphalist, it must be submitted using the new version of Alphalist Data Entry and Validation Module (Version 7.0).

However, it also expressly stated that resubmission of alphalist that were already submitted prior to the issuance of Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 17-2021 using the old version of the module is no longer required.
