Responsibilities
- Walk, ride bicycles, or use public conveyances in order to reach destinations to deliver messages or documents.
- Receive messages or documents to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone, two-way radio, or in person.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for tasks to be performed, as assigned by the admin secretary.
- Deliver messages or documents, between establishment departments, and to other establishments and private homes.
- Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery route.
- Obtain signatures and payments, or arrange for recipients to make payments
- Record information, such as items received and delivered and recipient’s responses to messages.
- Check with home offices after completed tasks, in order to confirm deliveries and receipts, and to receive instructions for other tasks.
- Call by telephone in order to deliver verbal messages.
- Perform general office or clerical work such as writing manual books, filing of documents, operating machines or running errands.
Requirements
- Good oral communication skills
- With pleasing personality
- Collaborative and trustworthy
- Familiarity in most places in metro manila is a must
- Diligent and has keen eye on details
- Can work with minimal supervision
- Committed and hardworking
- Can operate and drive a motorcycle
